2. Products, Hobby & Safety

Our figures are **collectible resin models intended for hobby, modelling, collecting and display purposes**.

They are **not toys** and are not suitable for children under 14 years of age.

Some figures may contain **small parts, sharp edges or pointed sections**. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children under 14.

3. Made-to-Order & Custom Production

All our figures are **made to order**. We do not keep finished figures in stock.

Each figure is **custom-produced according to the specific custom options selected by the customer**, including **scale and finish**.

Production begins after an order is placed, and each figure requires materials, production time and labour specifically for that order.

4. Custom Options

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and confirming their selected custom options before completing their order, including:

* **Scale**

* **Finish**

* **Quantity**

* **Product**

By placing an order, you confirm that your selected custom options are correct and understand that your figure will be **custom-produced according to those selections**.

5. Product Appearance

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs, descriptions, dimensions and other information are accurate.

Because our figures are individually produced, **minor variations in surface finish, dimensions or appearance may occur** as part of the production and finishing process.

Such variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.

6. Orders & Payment

Orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed.

We reserve the right to contact you if there is an issue with your order, payment or selected product options.

7. Order Cancellation

Because our figures are made to order, production may begin shortly after an order is placed.

Orders may be cancelled **within 1 hour of purchase**, provided production has not already started.

For cancellations after production has started, please refer to our **Returns & Refunds Policy**.

8. Shipping & Delivery

We offer shipping according to the options displayed at checkout.

Estimated delivery times depend on the **destination, circumstances or public holidays**.

Customers are responsible for providing a **complete and accurate delivery address**.

If a package is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided by the customer, any additional shipping cost required to resend the order will be the **customer’s responsibility**.

9. Returns & Refunds

Our figures are made to order.

Our **Returns & Refunds Policy** sets out our cancellation and refund terms.

**We do not accept change-of-mind returns where the applicable made-to-order exception under Irish consumer law applies.**

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights applicable under Irish law.

10. Fan Art & Inspired Designs

Some of our figures are **fan art or inspired designs** based on characters, themes, mythology, artwork and popular culture.

These products are created for **hobby, modelling, collecting and display purposes**.

Any third-party names, characters, trademarks or other intellectual property referenced in connection with a product remain the property of their respective owners.

**Scales Stories D&C does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property.**

Unless specifically stated otherwise, our products are not intended to represent or depict real persons or actual real-world events.

11. Intellectual Property

All original content created by **Scales Stories D&C**, including our original photographs, product descriptions, website text, graphics, logos and branding, remains the property of Scales Stories D&C unless otherwise stated.
